Surface Mounted Vents
Surface Mounted Vents are a convenient way to add ventilation to your building when "boxing out" a stud wall is not possible. Simply cut out the sub-wall and mount the vent directly to the sub-wall and side or trim to the edges of the vent. In some cases the Surface Mounted Vent may be applied directly to the surface of the wall siding and sealed off.

Surface mount vents have the ability to add ventilation without cutting into structural members. Mount directly over siding or on the sub-wall as a decorative non-functional vent.
