The "Surface Mounted Vent" offers a narrow profile for mounting on the surface of a wall or sub-wall. Occasionally a construction member such as a stud of beam prevents the "boxing out" of the wall to receive the "Standard Jamb" louver box which is 3" deep behind the face trim.
